Dear all,
At the subatomic--or quantum--level of the universe, the laws that we have come to rely on in our three-dimensional reality no longer apply. In our world, a thing can't be in two places at the same time. In the quantum world, it's a regular occurrence. Teleportation is commonplace. Information is passed instantaneously across light years. In fact, what physicists are sure of at the quantum level of the universe is that we can't be sure of anything, except that anything is possible. The quantum holds all of the raw possibility of the universe.
In a book called The Quantum Brain: The Search for Freedom and the Next Generation of Man, Jeffrey Satinover proposes a theory of how the brain works that is positively captivating. It builds the case that the human brain is the best designed and most powerful quantum effects amplifier in the universe. Since quantum effects can be perceived as raw possibility, and since quantum effects are ubiquitous in the brain (and everywhere else), it seems that our brain is a system designed to amplify that possibility. But what difference does it make? How do you amplify quantum effects all the way up to the 'macro' level--our every day lives?
If our wishes, dreams and goals are expressions of possibility, then bringing those wishes, dreams and goals to life in our present reality is the amplification of that possibility.
Throughout history there are innumerable examples of humans amplifying possibility and in fact, creating reality with their minds. A quick list would include the Wright brothers, who taught us that it is indeed possible to fly. Roger Bannister would be on the list. He believed that it was possible for a human to run a mile in less than four minutes, contrary to popular belief, and then did so.
In each of these examples, the entire human consciousness was in a state of disbelief. And yet single-handedly, these possibility inventors were able to turn around the belief system of the entire species. Pretty amazing, huh? Was it difficult? Reading through the biographies of these people, you will quickly find that it wasn't. Apparently, creating the reality of your dreams is not only easy, it's fun. And once you get hooked on doing it, it's really hard to stop.
The amplification of possibility begins with imagination. In your head, you have a reality invention and creation machine. My question for you today is, what reality are you planning to create? How clear is that picture?
