Amp It Up!

Back in April, I told you about a health problem I was having: recurring bladder and kidney infections that had put me in the hospital twice.  I also told you that I was going to use this as a self-healing exercise, because I didn’t want to be on constant antibiotics and other medications, or cause damage to my kidneys.

Now that it’s September, I wanted to update you on my progress:  I’m healed.  I am not on any medication, and have not had an infection since I wrote that post.  I weaned myself off the antibiotics, listening to my body and taking them in a precautionary manner only when I had a sense of discomfort.  And then I stopped using them altogether a couple of months ago.

I don’t intend to have this problem again.  I’ll check back in one more time in a few months just to re-confirm that my healing is permanent.
